What is the minimum order for custom printed RFID cards?
Our custom printed RFID cards are available from 100 cards, depending on the card technology and specification required. For larger projects, we can also supply cards in substantial volumes and arrange ongoing production or fulfilment.
How long do printed RFID cards take to produce?
Standard custom RFID card orders typically take around two weeks from artwork approval, although some technologies or specialist requirements can take longer. We'll confirm the expected lead time when quoting your cards.
Can you help me choose the correct RFID card?
Yes. RFID systems can require specific chips or card technologies, so if you're unsure which card you currently use, start with our replacement RFID card guide or contact our team. We can help identify the likely technology and arrange a sample for compatibility testing where appropriate.

Can RFID cards be printed on both sides?
Yes. Our custom RFID card prices include full-colour printing on both sides. Additional personalisation such as numbering, UID printing and signature panels is also available.
Do you encode RFID cards?
Most customers use their own system to encode or programme their RFID cards. If you require encoding, UID numbering or another personalisation service, let us know when requesting your quotation so we can confirm the available options for your chosen technology.
What is the difference between printing an RFID card and encoding it?
Printing adds the visible artwork, branding, text or numbers to the surface of the card. Encoding writes electronic information to the RFID chip inside the card. They are separate processes and the exact encoding requirements depend on the RFID system being used.
Can I test an RFID card before placing a full order?
Yes. If compatibility is uncertain, we recommend testing a suitable sample with your system before placing a full custom printed order. You can request a card sample pack or contact our team for advice.
Do you offer sustainable RFID cards?
Yes. Depending on the required technology, alternatives include wood, bamboo, recycled plastic and biodegradable plastic RFID cards.
