Which ID card printer bundle suits your needs?

Our recommended bundles bring together a card printer, blank cards, a compatible ribbon and card design software. Choose your package around how often you print, the size of each batch and whether you need printing on one or both sides.

  • IDP Smart 21s bundle — occasional printing and first-time users. A compact, budget-friendly single-sided printer with manual card feeding, suited to producing individual cards as you need them.
  • Matica MC110 bundle — low-volume printing. Explore the available single- and double-sided options to choose the setup that matches your card design.
  • Magicard 300 bundle — regular use and larger batches. A practical choice for organisations issuing cards regularly, with automatic feeding and a free upgrade to double-sided printing.

Each product page lists the exact bundle contents, ribbon yield, software details and available options.

Need cards for door access? The standard blank cards supplied in these bundles do not contain an access-control chip. Contact us before ordering so we can help you choose cards compatible with your door-entry system and printer.

With over 20 years’ experience in the ID market, we’ll help you choose a suitable setup and never upsell you to a more expensive model than you need.

ID card printer bundle FAQs

What is included in an ID card printer bundle?

Each bundle includes a printer, blank cards, a compatible ribbon and card design software. Quantities, ribbon yields and software editions vary, so check the “What’s included” information on your chosen bundle.

Do I need anything else to start printing?

You’ll need a compatible computer and your card design, photographs and details. Check the printer and software requirements before ordering. A compatible cleaning kit is recommended for ongoing maintenance; card holders, lanyards and access-control cards can be purchased separately.

Can I use the included cards for door access?

The standard blank cards supplied do not contain an access-control chip. If you need one card for both photo ID and door access, contact us to check the card technology and printer requirements before ordering.

How do I choose between occasional printing and batch printing?

Consider your busiest print run as well as your yearly total. A manually fed printer can suit individual replacement cards, while automatic feeding is more convenient for batches. Tell us how many cards you need initially and how often you’ll print afterwards.

Is the recommended annual volume a printing limit?

Annual volumes help you judge which printer suits your workload; they are not a counter that stops the printer at that number. Batch size, printing frequency and maintenance also matter when choosing a model.
