Do these Salto keyfobs arrive programmed?
No, these keyfobs are supplied blank and will need to be programmed to your access control system by the person or company who manages your system.
We do not offer fob cloning. These are replacement or additional Salto MIFARE® keyfobs for use with compatible systems.
What is the difference between Salto MIFARE® 1K and 4K keyfobs?
The main difference is the memory size. These PFM04KB keyfobs are 4KB fobs, so you should only order them if your system requires Salto MIFARE® 4K fobs.
If your existing fob is a 1K version, you may need a Salto MIFARE® 1K keyfob instead. Always match the memory type required by your access control system.

Can I use these keyfobs instead of Salto MIFARE® cards?
The matching Salto 4K card page confirms the card version is also for MIFARE® readers and Salto E9 Series access control systems.
Can these Salto keyfobs be printed or branded?
These keyfobs are supplied as blue Salto RFID keyfobs and are not designed to be printed like a flat plastic card.
If you need branding, logos, staff details or printed designs, a custom printed Salto RFID card may be more suitable than a keyfob.
How do I know which replacement Salto fob I need?
The safest option is to check the part number, memory size and system requirements before ordering.
If you are replacing an existing fob, check whether your current fob is 1K or 4K and whether your access control provider has specified a particular Salto part number.
