How do RFID blocking cards work?
Many everyday cards use contactless technology, including bank cards, employee access cards, travel passes and hotel key cards.
Simply place the RFID blocking card inside a wallet or cardholder, close to the cards you want to protect. Its internal conductive coil and blocking chip interfere with compatible 13.56MHz RFID and NFC signals, helping prevent nearby cards from communicating with an unauthorised reader.
This can provide extra reassurance when travelling through airports, using busy public transport, attending events and festivals, or carrying contactless cards in crowded places.
The card works passively, so there are no batteries, apps, charging or activation. When you need to use a protected card, remove it from the wallet or move it away from the blocking card before tapping or scanning it.

How do RFID blocking cards work?
The card contains a conductive coil and blocking chip that disrupt the communication between a nearby RFID reader and compatible contactless cards stored alongside it.
How do you use an RFID blocking card?
Place it inside your wallet or cardholder next to the contactless cards you want to protect. It works passively, so no activation, software or charging is needed.
Do RFID blocking cards work?
RFID blocking cards are designed to interfere with compatible 13.56MHz RFID and NFC signals. Their effectiveness depends on the card technology, wallet layout and how closely the blocking card is positioned to the cards being protected.
How many cards can one RFID blocking card protect?
One blocking card may help shield several compatible cards when they are stored closely together. Wallets with several separate compartments may need more than one.
Does this RFID blocking card block 125kHz cards?
Not as standard. This product is designed for 13.56MHz cards. A 125kHz or dual-frequency version may be available on request.
Is it safe to keep beside a mobile phone?
Yes. The card is passive and will not damage a phone or erase its data. It may temporarily prevent a phone from reading a nearby NFC card until the card is moved away.
Does it prevent card cloning?
It helps stop compatible cards from being read wirelessly while stored beside the blocker.
