HiCo magstripe cards are commonly used for access control, staff identification, membership cards, loyalty schemes and other applications where cards are swiped regularly.

The magnetic stripe is more resistant to accidental erasure than a LoCo stripe, making HiCo cards particularly suitable for frequent or longer-term use.

HiCo stands for high coercivity. HiCo magnetic stripes are harder to erase accidentally and are generally recommended for cards that will be used regularly over a longer period.
