Sustainable Breakfast Briefing for Events Industry News at BMA House
About the Event
BMA House in London again hosted the launch of Event Industry News’ Sustainable Event Buyer’s Guide at a breakfast briefing at the end of February.
The event was an opportunity for like-minded individuals and organisations to come together, collaborate and share knowledge with the singular goal of improving event sustainability.
Nearly 160 people registered for the event and enjoyed a sustainable breakfast whilst listening to a panel of thought-leaders and engaging in discussions around how to make events more eco-friendly.
What we were asked to do
Event Industry News wanted to badge attendees in a sustainable way that was visually impactful. One of the first interactions with guests is at registration, and they wanted the name badges to play a key branding role.
Their emphasis was on providing the most sustainable wood and ensuring limited waste.
Our Solution
We suggested Bamboo cards as bamboo is the most sustainable material due to how quickly and easily it grows.
We then printed branded ‘blank’ Bamboo badges for Event Industry News to personalise before and during the event. This is done via a transparent label, which can be printed on using a laser printer.
At the end of the event, the label was peeled off and discarded, leaving a name badge that can be reused again and again, thus ensuring zero waste.
Customer Reaction
“Event Industry News commissioned The Card Network for our Sustainable Breakfast Briefing delegate badges. As their bamboo badges are re-usable they were the perfect choice for this event."
"Easy to personalise, and they looked great with our logo. Many delegates commented on how impressed they were. Would highly recommend.”
