Enviricard® Paperboard Blank Cards.
Enviricard® Blank Paperboard Cards are a sustainable alternative to PVC cards for printing on with most direct-to-card ID printers with a colour or monochrome ribbon.
Featuring material sourced from FSC forests, Enviricard® is the same CR80 ISO size as a regular plastic card with a similar feel, but is 100% plastic free.
Enviricard® is produced at a papermill powered by biomass meaning no fossil fuels and is recyclable in normal household waste, or compostable in industrial landfill.
Available as a pack of 100, Enviricard® is ideal for limited use cards such as delegate badges, visitor passes and gift cards.

Are these cards compatible with all ID card printers?
Enviricard® can be used with most Direct-to-Card (dye sublimation) printers, however the results vary and you may have to adjust your printer settings.
We have tested the cards on the Magicard Pronto100, 300 and 600 and the Matica MC110, MC210 and MC310.
Can I print in colour and black on these cards?
Yes, although we don’t recommend printing designs with a heavy density of background colour.
What kind of design works best on these cards?
You can print pretty much the same designs on these cards as you would on regular PVC, however we recommend avoiding flood filled backgrounds or big areas of concentrated colours.
Is the coating on the cards also eco-friendly?
Yes, it is made from a compostable cellulose.
Can I print barcodes on these cards?
Yes, you can legibly print QR codes, barcodes and black text on these cards.
Can I recycle these cards in my normal household waste?
Yes. These cards can be put into your recycling bin at home. They are also compostable in industrial landfill.
What’s the durability of these cards?
As with anything, it depends on their regularity of use.
We recommend using them for limited use or temporary cards as their shelf-life won’t compare to a standard PVC card.
