Staff ID Card Types

PVC Card
Our standard Staff ID cards are printed on a 100% Recycled PVC card. If you don’t need your cards to work with your access control or door entry system, and simply want a photo ID, choose this option.

Encoded Magstripe
If you also use your photo ID to ‘swipe’ through doors or with a cashless vending or similar system, you’ll need an Encoded Magstripe on your cards.

Paxton Net2 Cards
If you use a Paxton Net2 access control system, we can print your staff photo IDs onto Paxton Net2 cards so they also work for door entry.

MIFARE® 1K Cards
MIFARE® is one of the most widely used RFID chips in contactless door entry (i.e. when you ‘tap’ or hold your staff ID card against a reader for entry). We can print your staff ID cards on MIFARE® 1K Cards. Please contact us for a sample card to test if you are unsure if this is the right technology.
