Printing your own Paxton cards
If you want to add names, photographs or branding in-house, check the exact card and printer combination before purchasing. Card construction, thickness and surface can affect suitability and print quality.
How do I know whether I have Net2, Switch2 or Paxton10?
Check your system documentation or ask the person who manages your access control. Net2 is centrally managed from a PC, while Switch2 is a standalone system managed at the doors. Paxton10 uses a web-based management interface. A reader’s appearance alone may not identify the complete system.
Can I choose a replacement fob just by its colour?
Check the product code and system requirements as well as the colour. Send us photographs and any previous order details if you’re unsure which replacement to buy.
Will a new card or fob work immediately?
Buying a compatible card or fob does not automatically give it permission to open your doors. Your system administrator or installer will need to register it using the process for your installation.
I’m a tenant and need another door-entry fob. Can you help?
Speak to your landlord, managing agent or building administrator first. They can confirm the required product and arrange access permissions for your replacement.
