Loyalty Cards are now a major plank of many companies marketing Strategy. Throughout the marketing and business industries there are many different forms of loyalty cards or clubcards and look similar to a credit card. The Loyalty cards typically include a few minor personal details such as name and address and can be used as identity to get discount or entrance into particular places. This is a strategy deployed by many businesses with rewards consumers for using their service.

All business’s use the loyalty cards in different manners in order to increase their potential revenue by rewarding customers with points which can lead to a number of different things including vouchers, air miles and discount, leading to customers choosing to purchase items from them in order to gain more points. Some companies also offer promotional “double points” at certain times of the year. Cards typically have a barcode or magstripe that can be easily scanned, and some are even chip cards.
